As the year draws to a close, we reflect on the many achievements of Landcarers throughout Wodonga this year.
A big thank you to all our supporters, members, groups, committee and board, staff, and partners – we are so proud of what we’ve accomplished together this year.
In January, we encourage both staff and volunteers to take a well-deserved break. We will be closed from Saturday 21st December and will be returning on Monday 20th January 2025. If there is an urgent matter that requires attention, please contact me on 0428 672 713 or Julie on 0429 445 536.
Wishing you a joyful holiday season filled with peace and gratitude. We look forward to more Landcare activities and collaborations in 2025!
– Jo Vincent, Network Facilitator

Each year at our AGM we celebrate the contributions of our volunteers and staff through the release of our annual report and our annual awards ceremony.
Congratulations to all the 2024 Wodonga Landcare Award recipients.
Find out more about these awards and this year's recipents, in the article linked below.
Be sure to check out the WULN 2024 Annual Report for an overview of the WULN year to June 2024, including committee of management, groups and members, projects and staff, and our partners.
Congratulations and thank you to everyone that contributed to all these outcomes - it was a big year!
The last 12 months has seen a lot of ‘behind the scenes’ change for WULN, with the adoption of a new constitution at a special general meeting which allowed for the move from a member based committee to a member and skills based Board.
We thank outgoing committee members Julia Jones, Janette Reynoldson, Neil Offner and Heather Davies (Secretary) for their valuable contribution to the governance of our organisation over a number of years.
We also welcome new Board members Simon Fisher, Sam Hagen, Caitlin Lawrence and Peter Staley, and returning members Julie Hind, Elaine Jamieson, Sharleen Sharp and Kate Sleeman.
We're proud to announce the launch of Project SPROUT (Sustaining Parks, Restoring our Urban Terrain) thanks to Bupa Australia's generosity.
You've invited to help Wodonga Landcare, through this project, to plant 5,000 trees, shrubs, and grasses across Wodonga at 10 locations, thanks to a Bupa Australia Landcare Grant.
While Christmas and January will be quiet on the events front, we are excited for the range of events and activities in the line up for 2025.
For a sneak peak, and some dates you might want to pop into your diary, be sure to click below.
And, of course, the details and notices for events will be shared to members and Bulletin subscribers throughout 2025.
Get to know some of the big beetles that love summer and consider sharing your observations.
Have you seen each of the five beetles mentioned in this article?
Beetles are not only fun to find but important for biodiversity.
The WULN Bulletin is sent monthly to email subscribers and members.
A huge thank you to volunteer news editor, Beck Humphreys, for contributing and curating content for the Bulletin and the WULN website.
