Landcare Week 2025 is just around the corner – taking place from Monday, 4th August to Sunday, 10th August. It’s a great opportunity to raise awareness about the environmental, community, and wellbeing benefits of caring for our land and waterways.
How to get involved? This year, we’ll be sharing inspiring local stories and celebrating the people behind landcare. You can get involved by taking our Landcare Week survey or by submitting a photo for the Landcare Through the Lens campaign.
PLUS, by submitting a photo, you will go in the draw to win a Milwaukee Dual Battery Chainsaw!
Landcare Through the Lens
Submit your favourite landcare photo and tell us why the photo best represents landcare to you. Selected photos will be on show at the 2025 National Landcare Conference and published during Landcare Week.
Plus, submit a photo for your landcare group’s chance to win a Milwaukee Chainsaw to help with primary weed control. *T&Cs apply.

Landcare Week Survey
As part of Landcare Week 2025 we’re asking landcarers to participate in a national survey. We would like to know what motivates people to volunteer with landcare, and how it makes them feel.
This survey aims to help Landcare Australia, the National Landcare Network and the State and Territory Landcare Organisations, understand more about what is happening at a grassroots level across the landcare community.
The survey closes 18 July 2025.
