Surprise! The Healthy Cities Landcare Grants Program is back – Apply today!

After the incredible impact from last year, which supported the planting of 106,500 native trees, shrubs and ground covers across the country, we’re thrilled to announce the return of the Healthy Cities Landcare Grants Program for 2025!

Landcare Australia and Bupa will support environmental community groups and organisations to establish native plants (trees, shrubs and groundcovers) across Australia in urban and peri-urban landscapes to enhance biodiversity and positive health outcomes.

 

Key information:

✅ Each application must contribute to the establishment of native plants and host community events open to the public.

🌱 Grant applications should be for a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $25,000 (ex-GST).

📅 Applications close Friday 29 August 2025, 5pm AEST

 

Eligible organisations include:

  • Landcare groups and networks and other community-led environmental groups (e.g. ‘Friends-of’, Coastcare, WildCare, Dunecare, Bushcare, young adult organisations, etc).
  • Local government.
  • Natural resource management organisations or environmental not for profits – including those operating nationally.
  • Traditional Owners and First Nations organisations.
  • State and Territory Landcare Organisations.
