WULN is seeking a local landholder to host a group at their property for an ‘Integrated Rabbit Management’ workshop on the 24th May 2025.
The workshop will focus on small properties and will feature an expert from the Victoria Rabbit Action Network, who will showcase best practices for managing rabbits.
Participants will gain knowledge about pest species, their environmental impacts, and effective control techniques for small properties.
Criteria:
• In the Wodonga area, including Leneva, Huon Creek, Castle Creek, Baranduda, Killara or Bonegilla vicinities
• Have recent and visible rabbit problem and damage that is accessible for a group to visit
• Be willing to host 20 workshop participants – please note the event will be coordinated and attended by WULN staff members to host the group and to run logistics

WULN has been successful in securing funding through Agriculture Victoria’s Partnerships Against Pests Grants Program which aims to improve the capacity of land managers to manage established weeds and pest animals on their land. WULN will deliver six targeted workshops on pest animals and weeds, focusing on building knowledge and capacity to undertake best practice management techniques. Workshops will include fox, rabbit, pig, blackberry, woody weed and herbaceous weed management. Please keep an eye out for future events and EOIs within this program.
