Lights, camera (for pictures of our new power connection), now let’s get our volunteers into action!
We have powered up environmental volunteering in Wodonga with thanks to a grant from Albury Wodonga Connected Communities Ltd. This means lighting and power points. Such little things that mean so much to our volunteers!
There will be no more bump-in-the-night adventures: Volunteers can now see what they’re doing, reducing the chances of accidentally hugging a spider-infested tree guard.
We have a charging station for the tools: Battery-operated equipment can now juice up on-site, saving volunteers from lugging them home like needy toddlers.
24/7 access to the tools of the trade: Whether it’s the crack of dawn or the witching hour, the shed will be ready for action.
We are taking a step towards a greener future: By supporting their battery-powered arsenal, WULN is giving fossil fuels the cold shoulder.
This electrifying upgrade will make volunteering easier, safer, and more efficient.

The connection of power to our equipment shed has been supported by and has also benefited Wodonga Heart Football Club Inc and we thank them for their generosity.
