A message from Wodonga Council
Thank you to everyone who participated during stages 2 and 3 of our Wodonga 2050 Community Vision project. We heard from more than 1200 people. Some of the key themes we heard were around health, transport, housing, environmental sustainability, education and employment. Feedback from stage 3 has been compiled and you can read the feedback report here.
We are now progressing into stage 4 and are seeking registrations from community members who are interested in participating in the Wodonga 2050 Community Vision Deliberative Panel
Participate in the Community Vision Deliberative Panel
You’re invited to register your interest to participate in the Wodonga 2050 Community Vision Deliberative Panel.
The Deliberative Panel will review the feedback received during stage 2 and 3 of this project to develop the new Wodonga 2050 Community Vision.
The vision will inform the development of the Council Plan 2025-2028 and other council documents into the future.
The Deliberative Panel will be made up of around 40 people from the Wodonga area, independently recruited in a random-selection process to ensure there is a cross-section of people working together to develop the vision.
Participants will be asked to attend four sessions on the following dates.
- Sunday, September 1 – 10am to 1pm
- Saturday, September 7 – 10am to 4pm
- Saturday, September 14 – 10am to 4pm
- Sunday, September 15 – 10am to 4pm
Sessions will be held at Wodonga Council’s offices, 104 Hovell St, Wodonga.
Panel members will be paid $500 for their participation in recognition of their time and commitment to attending all four meetings.
