It was fantastic to get representatives from our member groups in the room to pass a special resolution to adopt a new set of rules* for our network last week.
* The rules are also known as the Constitution for incorporated associations, like WULN.
Milestone moments are always so satisfying!
While the images of this milestone moment may not look like much, this paves the way for some exciting changes for the network and its member groups in terms of governance, our ability to diversify our funding and to establish an operational committee to better support on ground Landcare work.
A massive thank you to the working group who have toiled away behind the scenes preparing a new set of rules and also to all of the attendees of the meeting who represent our groups.
