Wodonga Landcare works with Wodonga Council, the North East Catchment Management Authority, along with WULN member groups, community members and other stakeholders to enhance, retain and improve waterways within Wodonga.
Our aim is to develop ecologically healthy and self-sustaining waterway environments throughout the Wodonga region, promoting community values and social utilisation of the riparian zone where applicable.
We will collaborate with landowners to improve water quality by stabilising riverbanks, managing stock, and revegetating so that water quality is protected from sediment and other pollutants.
We will protect and restoring waterway corridors so that they provide habitat and refuge for native fish, birds, animals and people.
We will advocate for our waterways to ensure that they continue to nurture our health, wellbeing and connection to nature.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging whose knowledge and wisdom has ensured the continuation of culture and traditional practices.
We are committed to genuine partnerships and engagement with Traditional Owners and First Nations people to support the protection of Country.
We are proud that Wodonga has retained its Aboriginal name and refers to Bulrushes found on the edge of waterways.
