The Wodonga Regional Waterway Action Plan provides guidance on the sustainable restoration and management of waterway systems across the Wodonga Council area.

Wodonga Landcare, the North East CMA and Wodonga Council continue to work collaboratively to implement the Wodonga Regional Waterway Action Plan.
Following flooding, some sites received further planning attention to help guide action for works and maintenance, delivered as part of the Wodonga Healthy Rivers project (2023).

In 2026, further technical advice and recommendations were obtained for waterway initiatives on House Creek and Huon Creek.
The House Creek Remediation Plan was prepared for the North East CMA as part of the Platy Patch project.
The Huon Creek WREN Rehabilitation Plan was prepared for WULN as part of a Victorian Landcare Grant project.
