Using iNaturalist – information session

Tuesday 14 October @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Are you interested in observing and documenting nature? Or looking for a way to identify what you’ve seen? Or to share your experience as a nature record?

This session will provide both a ‘getting started’ overview about the iNaturalist app and website as well as some ‘going further’ ideas and functions for those already using it.

Including

  • Making nature observations/records
  • Tips for obtaining or confirming identifications of your observations
  • Using iNaturalist for Landcare groups or projects
  • How to participate in the Great Southern BioBlitz
  • And more!

Optional: Bring your smartphone and/or laptop so you can follow along on your own device, if you wish

This is a free event, please register to let us know you’re coming.

Participants may also be keen to join one of our BioBlitz events the following week.
