More beautiful rain in July is bedding down our recent plantings and with Spring weather not far away hopefully these plants will grow, grow, grow!
WULN staff and Board members are in the midst of a range of end of financial year reporting please read the reminders below carefully and support us to complete these tasks during this very busy time.

Reminder #1: Group activity and event reporting
Please can group coordinators complete their activity and event reporting for the period 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 by MONDAY 21st July. I will then collate this information to send to DEECA (Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action) by 31st July 2025 which highlights the incredible amount of work each WULN group undertakes each year. This information is also collated and used to create a snapshot of our work as a network in the Annual Report.

Reminder #2: Annual Report 2024-25
Our Annual Report is an important way to provide an overview of our financial performance and celebrate our achievements against our strategic direction. This document also gives us a way to highlight the achievements of our groups, our board and our staff. Our Annual report is vital for our partners, stakeholders, investors and potential investors to assess our organisations health and build trust in our organisation.
I am inviting groups to provide me with a short summary of your groups achievements over the past financial year for inclusion in the Annual Report. Please see last years report here.
Please send no more than 3 paragraphs of text and at least one great image (preferably high resolution) by no later than the 15th August 2025 to Jo
Reminder #3: Project Sprout feedback request
Landcare Australia have advised us that the BUPA/ Landcare Australia funded Healthy Cities Grants will be reopening very shortly for their 2025/2026 program. To determine if WULN should apply again to support our Landcare groups with their planting program, I am seeking feedback from coordinators and group members about the program. Please take the time to fill in this short survey. It should take you 5-10 minutes at the most. The survey can be found here
