Hi Members, Staff, Board and Associate Members,
Hope you have dredged up your winter woolies for our cold snap this week.
A call out for EOI’s for training and support this week, please let us know if you can assist.

Board News- from the Chair- Julie Hind
2025 is set to be an exciting but busy year for WULN. The Board has returned from the holiday break and Board members are currently undertaking induction. The exploration of a potential merger between WULN and ONG is progressing with both organisations reviewing documents, policies, practices, and finances as part of the due diligence process. The planning group will meet in early March to discuss the due diligence findings and develop a process and timetable to consult with members of both organisations. Julie Hind is taking leave from 6 February to 9 March. Kate Sleeman will deputise while Julie is away.
Inaugural Operations Committee Meeting
A massive thank you to all the groups who sent representatives to the inaugural Operations Committee Meeting. It was great to see so many co-ordinators or their representatives in the room and great to share what each group has been up to and is planning for 2025. I look forward to working with the group on a regular basis to share news, coordinate resources and collaborate on projects and discuss and resolve operational issues and provide recommendations to the Board.
The next meeting will be the 18th May 10.30-12.30 at Hyphen.
