We’re thrilled to announce that Our Native Garden Nursery and Wodonga Urban Landcare Network have officially merged!
This partnership has been in the works for a couple of years, and it’s finally here heralding an exciting chapter for community-led environmental action in Wodonga.
The merger means that the nursery, a long standing member of the Wodonga Urban Landcare Network and an already thriving social enterprise, will wind up as an incorporated organisation and will instead operate through WULN’s incorporation. This change being implemented with the guidance of Bev Hoffman, ONG Nursery Business Manager, brings united governance, new opportunities for growth, and stronger collaboration to support our amazing volunteers and community partners.
For years, Our Native Garden has been supplying locally grown native plants for revegetation, landscaping, and home gardens. There are exciting plans afoot and we are working toward being able to expand production and deepen our impact across the region.
We’re also working with Wodonga Council to relocate to a larger site — one that will allow both the nursery and WULN to grow, host community events, and create an inspiring hub for environmental learning and collaboration.
